In my last blog I went to Skellingthorpe Old Wood and Lincolns West Common in look for thee perfect autumn sunrise colors but the places wasn't quite right to get the picture I wanted so this time I went to I new place, Linwood Warran Nature Reserve near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. My Trip to RSPB Budby South Forest

RSPB Budby South Forest Trip RSPB Budby South Forest is located in Nottinghamshire next to the legendary Sherwood Forest. It consists of birch and oak woodland but also has a wide area of heathland which I went to photograph. It is said to get the best photos of landscapes it needs to be taken at the so called magic hour, meaning at sunrise or sunset when the sun is lowest in the sky. A Morning at Kirkby Gravel Pits

View from hide Was an early start today, got up a 6am to find Crested Grebes at Kirkby Gravel Pits, which I saw there last year. The weather was cloudy, foggy and a bit grey when I arrived, so probably not the best weather but not been out for a while so was looking forward to being out with nature again, even if the weather wasn't great.
