Through the Year with a Nature Journal 2020

Updated: Jan 31, 2021

This year has been different to other years with the Coronavirus sweeping the country, lock downs and travel restrictions. This has impacted the amount of places and wildlife seen so by contrast this year has a smaller diary of entries but when allowed I have seen more places near home which I didn't know even existed with some great wildlife. This shows you don't have to travel far to see some great wildlife you just have to look at whats around.

One of this years highlights was the Red-tipped Clearwing moth which is classified as Nationally Scarce B which I found down the Water Railway. More information on my blog

Another highlight was Roberts Field which was amazing. So many butterflies including the Dark Green Fritillary (above). More information on by blog A Look at Robert's Field, Holywell .
