Sunrise at 7.25AM at Tunman Wood

Sunrise at Tunman Wood

Today I got up very early this morning to go and watch the sunrise at Tunman Wood, which is for the the ones that don't known is in between Eagle Barnsdale and Thorpe on the Hill in Lincolnshire. It was very cold and dark when I arrived but was soon greeted with a small strip of yellow appearing on the horizon, which grew as the sun appeared over the hedge.

Autumn Trees at first light

As well as getting pictures of a sunrise I also wanted some good autumn tree pictures which is why a wood. Tunman happens to have a strip of beech trees which go a lovely golden yellow to a copper brown colour at autumn, which in a golden soft light of a morning sun would look amazing. Ever though this didn't work out as expected I did get some nice pictures shown below.
